Cooling System : The chassis includes two system fans for cooling and airflow. Both fans provide
cooling for theprocessor(s), hard drives, and add-in cards. The power supply
contains its own built-in fan for cooling. As shown in Figure 3, two 80 mm fans
are located in the middle of the chassis to pull cooling air through the length of the
chassis.

One empty 3.5-inch drive bay which supports either a standard floppy, a 1-inch drive or other half height peripheral
Security : To help prevent unauthorized entry or use of the system, the chassis includes amechanical lock on the front bezel to prevent access to the system’s peripheralsand control panel. The chassis also includes an intrusion switch that can bemonitored by server management software. When the top cover is opened, theswitch transmits a signal to the server board, where server management softwareprocesses the signal. For example, the system can be programmed to respond to anintrusion by powering down or by locking the keyboard.
